Credits and billing¶
Your credit balance and billing contacts live in Settings → Billing & credits. From there you check how many credits your workspace has left and reach the team to top up credits or change your plan. For what credits and tests are and how a test is priced, see Credits and tests.
Open the billing section¶
- In the sidebar, click Settings.
- Open Billing & credits.
Credits are shared across everyone in the workspace, so this balance is the same for every member.
What the section shows¶
| Row | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Credits remaining | The credit balance your workspace has left to spend on tests. Shows — until the balance loads. |
| Plan & top-ups | A Contact us link to request more credits or a different plan. |
| Billing contact | The email Squoosh uses for billing, with a Contact us link. |
This is the same balance the sidebar turns into N tests left at the bottom of the navigation.
Top up credits or change your plan¶
Self-serve billing isn't available yet, so credit top-ups and plan changes go through the Squoosh team.
- In Billing & credits, click Contact us under Plan & top-ups.
- This opens an email to support@squoosh.ai with the subject "Billing & plan."
- Tell the team what you need — more credits, a higher monthly test limit, or more properties — and they'll set it up.
Plan limits and the "Upgrade your plan" prompt¶
Your plan caps how many tests you can run each month and how many properties you can connect. These limits apply even when you have enough credits.
| Limit | Default | What you see when you hit it |
|---|---|---|
| Tests per month | 5 | Launch is blocked: "Monthly test limit reached. Upgrade your plan for more tests." |
| Properties | 1 | Adding a property is blocked: "Property limit reached. Upgrade your plan for more properties." |
The monthly count covers every test you start in the current calendar month — both A/B tests and Conversion Reports — and resets on the first of each month. To raise either cap, contact the team using the steps above.
A suspended account¶
A suspended account can't run tests or add properties, and shows "Your account is suspended. Contact support." Email support@squoosh.ai to resolve it.
